Additional Record Info:
This fish was caught during an ILSFA-sanctioned tournament, which required the accurate measurements of each fish's girth, fork and total length, as well the photographing and research tagging of all fish prior to being released. That's not an easy task, but this innovative format provided a situation where nearly all the steps necessary for a World Record were in place and well executed by this angler and teammate.

Paxton, the equipment and techniques used.
